Scion is preparing to release its first sedan model and new spy photos have fully revealed the car.
The iA, Scion’s new small sedan, was caught uncovered during filming for a commercial in California. The car is based on the Mazda2 sedan and will be built alongside the new 2 in Mazda’s Mexican assembly plant.
Front end styling has been revised by Scion to clearly separate the iA from the Mazda2, although the back end and profile of the car still carry clear Mazda design cues.

Under the hood, a 1.5-liter four-cylinder SkyActiv engine will provide power.
Mazda has apparently allotted space for production of 50,000 Scion sedans a year. In Canada, the new Scion iA will be sold at the Toyota Yaris Sedan.
