It’s been more than once when we wrote about Ducati’s new business plans for India, but it’s with joy that we can announce that Ducati India Private Limited started actual operations in three of the country’s biggest cities, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon, with the latter claimed to be the largest Ducati dealership in the whole global network.
Ducati promises that this is the beginning of a completely new era in the brand’s Indian history, with the entire business plan being structured on different grounds than previously. A new dealership is being opened in Bangalore and Ducati is commited to replicate the successful business model throughout India.
Skilled, well-trained technicians and salespersons will be the key to Ducati’s business model
Ducati’s failure in the Indian market was trigged by the poor training of its former partners, who not only missed out the biggest points in the brand’s philosophy but also neglected the after-sales segment, Ducati sources mentioned previously. “Ducati India is also currently identifying, confirming and training a network of highly qualified and enthusiastic dealers ready to offer the 2015 models in other key cities,” a press release from Borgo Panigale informs us.
